I came across Teliad.com when reading in DigitalPoints forum yesterday. The site said it can help web publishers to make money online, so I took some time browsing some pages of Teliad.com to find out what the site is offering.

My first reaction after found out what Teliad is about was ‘Oh no… not another text link ad marketplace.

Yes, Teliad.com is another marketplace for webmasters and bloggers to sell text links, just similar to Text-Link-Ads.com. It will promote your website or blog to the the prospective advertisers. When an advertiser places an order, you will place a text link of the advertiser on the sidebar, header or footer of your site and get paid for placing that link. This is just one of the ways you can make money with Teliad.com.

There are two other earning opportunities available in Teliad.com:

Content-Link - You will be paid for writing article or blog post about the advertiser’ products or business and the advertisers will allow to place a text link within the article that you wrote for the advertiser.

InLinks - This is great for bloggers. If your website or blog has a lot of content and articles, selling inlinks can be a good idea. It works simple, the advertisers choose the keywords that can be found in your published articles, then pay you to purchase text links for the keywords they selected.

Teliad isn’t a new text link marketplace. It has already existed for years actually, it was only opened to Germany and a few other Euro countries previously. But, recently the marketplace finally open worldwide. You can find out more about making money with Teliad.com here.

Pepperjam just launched as of January 15th 2008 and bloggers and webmasters are jumping at the chance to become a part of the network.

Blogitive was a great place to get started with paid posting, but there are many others who now do it better. What is AdSense for feeds?

I had only one bug with my 2.6 Wordpress. With Firefox (I haven’t tested the problem with any other browser), Wordpress would log me out of the control panel after a certain time,and i cant delete some of the scheduled posts,gives me a fatal error memory exausted.This problem “seems” to be fixed with the new release. Check out the full list of over 60 fixes to see if 2.6.1 has something to offer you.

My advice. If 2.6 is working fine for you, then continue to use it. However, you’ll have to put up with that nag notice in the control panel. If you’re still using Wordpress 2.5 because you were waiting for the dot one release of 2.6, then now is the time to upgrade.

Combining Google AdSense ads and third-party ads, it will mean more targeted ads will display on AdSense publishers sites. But, will the third-party ads help publishers make more money online? You wouldn’t know until you test them. But, Google believes that they will result in increased revenue for many AdSense publishers.

Who clicks on ads? And what might this mean?
Nice write up on who is clicking on your ads. I had someone click on my ads at my house once who fell under this description (yes we did immediately contact Google to let them know). Generally, I have found that non-techie people click on Google ads because they don’t realize they are ads (like in the case of our friend). Anyway, this is a good read in case you were wondering who is clicking on your adsense ads.

Should You Take Part in Traffic Exchanges?
I agree with Chris. It’s the reason I just removed the Blog Rush widget from my blog. I am getting very little traffic from it and it takes up too much real estate on my navigation menu for such low amounts of traffic.
